As Covid - 19 continues to plague our summer plans of gathering together and sharing important events, the creative community has had to embrace this change - head on and pivot; through producing Hybrid and Virtual Events.
This was my first execution of a Virtual Event and although I still prefer the real thing, I am so happy for my client, Style with Charlotte and her successful “Mother’s Day Tea”.
Make sure to check her out on IG and support Small Business!
While the initial stages of planning most definitely remained the same, because of a tight timeline and current Covid - 19 restrictions, we decided to move along with just only three vendors for the day.
butterbakerto took care of all of the delicious food and stunning cake, plateoccasions always my go to for any dinnerware/flat/glassware options that requires elegance and beauty and florals by blossomboutiquebb one of my clients favorite stores.
For entertainment; Charlotte’s lovely husband, George began and ended the event with some ragtime music on the family piano. All of the elements to make a great party!
I know there will be many that ask about that awesome metallic side table used in the decor, it is an antique from Charlotte’s personal collection! Jealous? (we are too!)
And can we just talk about the inside of this CAKE!! I don't think I can ever get over it. Blueberry Lemon Dream looks like it was made out of purple clouds!!
“Engagement for a virtual event needs to be a two-way street. There are far too many events where attendees are only watching videos, remarks, demos, etc. … Attendees should be doing, not just watching.” - Adam Sloyer
Charlotte’s guests signed in through zoom and were able to make some personal connections as every shared a little bit about themselves in the intro. I loved that idea because everyone was not acquainted and it brought a sense of community (especially on a day like Mother’s Day) almost immediately!!
Personally, the reason I love executing creative projects is to bring a meaningful experience to the audience. Whether it be for social impact or a corporate venture, the goal is always to deliver a beautiful story that needs to be told. Charlotte’s Virtual Mother’s Day Tea did just that and I was so happy to be a part of it. Until next time!

Lovely couple, lovely table!
A little cake, a little love and happiness - that’s what we all need now.
Well done!❤️
